Sharing Story

Have you ever talked about this before to them?

Not to this extent, never, uh. To--as a matter of fact not to anybody. Uh...

Why not?

I have uh, I'm surprised I spoke to you with as much calmness without breaking down. But I made myself--I talked my--to myself for so long. I did end up crying privately. I can't always um, I don't cry out in pain in public. In other words, I've learned to hide my hurt.

Well you did a wonderful job, really. And I'm really happy to have had the opportunity to interview you and I want to thank you very much for sharing your experiences with all of us so that perhaps in the future it will never happen again.

Uh, I'm pleased I did it just so it's down somewhere on paper--on tape, otherwise I think I'm insane that I've imagined it all.
