Life in the Ghetto III

Mm-hm.

And soon he saw the three SS men. He got a stroke.

From...

From fear.

From fear.

And took him three days and he died. During the war.

Was he in the Jewish hospital after? Did...

No hospital, no. He die at home.

No. Died at home...

I was right there with his daughter when he died.

Okay.

Daughter: His daughter?

Esther--Esther is grandpa's daughter. My auntie.

Husband: Yeah.

Grandpa's daughter. Fanny was a daughter.

Daughter: Your mother's father?

We're talking just about mother's parents. Not about father's parents. I don't know why, but we were never close, that's why.
