You didn't leave at night though. You left...

We had to leave, we left that night.

Did you leave the attic and get your father?

No, dad's the one that came up. When it got dark I guess he came outta the hole. And he says, let's go.

Ah.

We gotta go now. Because we, we were kids. We probably would stay there forever if they leave us alone. You know, we not going to come down from the attic.

Did your mother say anything about your sisters? Did she ask for the sisters?

They talked very little about it. Even, even here, they talked very little about it.

I mean when your father came up to say let's go...
