...yes, I've seen punishments. I've seen a man being beating uh, across--through the fence, through the ga...uh, fencing, a man uh, with his back until he pass out and then they take buckets of water, throw it on him, and he'd come to, and then they, they take him in and they bring him out again and then it would be several men, uh, um. The women uh, other punishment would be, say, for any reason they would reshave your hai...head, um...
The Kapo would do that...
Yes.
...in front of the other women?
Yes, kapos would do that. Uh, the kapos had means of getting a little bit more food.
