Returning to Czechoslovakia
Have you been back to Czechoslovakia?
Yes, now that's sort of interesting. Um, after--in 2001 or it was the years 2000 there was a man who contacted me from England, David ??? and he notified us that we had property in the Czech Republic and I followed it up and sure enough we were given back half the community building in Prague Smíchov. And um, it had about 25 apartments in all um, and so we had half--or I had a quarter and my brother had a quarter and the state had half and so we were offered it back. And after five years of struggling with it because I just didn't have the Czech um, what do you call it? The, the Czech backing here and um, my brother wanted--he wanted the whole thing--he wanted to buy it back from the state and I didn't have that kind of money. So, I eventually gave it to him and um, because he wants to buy it back but um, so far he hasn't. We--it sort of brought us back together for five years.
