Life of Sister After the War

You left your sister in Poland.

My sister was--in the meantime got married. She married--she met a ma...man whom, whom she met in the ghetto and she married him--not, not while I was there. But she said, she's in...she's uh, she's interested in a man who's going--who wants to marry her. And she said she's going to stay there. I brought her over to the States after, after the war. When I was in the States already I brought her over. But she went back to--my brother-in-law didn't want to come to the States. Her, her new husband didn't want to come. He didn't--he was afraid he was too--he's too old for it--to learn a new language he didn't want. So they remained in Germany. And finally...

Near Poland.

Poland or Germany?

No, they, they went out. They, they left...

They left Poland and went to Germany.

...Poland to Germany. When it was a, it was a--no, in Poland it was terrible things there--big riots against, against the Jews.
