Abraham Mondry - June 15, 22, 29 & July 13, 1992

And you finally wound up in Mauthausen?

Yeah, I was in Mauthausen. And from Mauthausen I wind up in Ebensee. This is in the, in the southern part of Austria, in the mountains, you know. In the sticks, in the mountains, they used to build, they build airplanes, factories, you know. All twenty-four hours, drill, drill in the stones, you know.

You can go crazy just from the...noise

From the drill sound? What was Mauthausen like?

I was in camp. We was still sitting and waiting to be transported someplace else. They had no room for us. It was the same like Auschwitz. It wasn't any different.
