The following is a continuation of the interview with Mr. Abraham Mondry, conducted on the morning of June 22, 1992 at his home in Southfield, Michigan. The interviewer is still Sidney Bolkosky.
Let me ask you, uh, a little more about uh, Mlawa.
What?
About Mlawa?
Yeah.
Um, you told me last time that there were...You had three brothers and three sisters.
I had three brothers and three sisters.
And, uh, and they went to Warsaw when the war started?
Yeah.
With your mother and father?
No--and the oldest one--I have an older brother. He lived in Warsaw.
So the family was in Warsaw?
Yeah, but I took them back to Mlawa, because it was very bad in Warsaw, you know. I took them back in the Third Reich, you know.
But, be...before you took them back, your father died of typhus?
Yeah.
