Italy I

What were your, what were your reactions then?

The reaction, you want to die. The time is up. It's uh, it's like now, you know. I'm just wasting time. For four years they don't kill me. And from there I, I wind up in Italy. You know, they took me to Italy.

From Ebensee?

No, no, no, no, I don't...from, from Austria. The American Army, they took me. I was sick. I couldn't...You see, I get too emotional.

It's alright. It's alright.

Do we have to finish this in one time?

No.

See, I cannot...

Just tell me where they took you in Italy.

Hm?

Where did they take you in Italy?

Yeah, then I wind up in Italy. See, they find out I had dry pleurisy. They couldn't find enough water to get it out, so they keep me in one--in the southern part of Italy, in the hospital. Six months...
