Not marching. In beginning I ??? I went to find somebody. My relatives...

This is the beginning, when you went to Auschwitz, you mean.

When you first got to Auschwitz, that's what kept you going?

When I first got to Auschwitz, this was in 1942.

And you thought you would find somebody alive.

No, I didn't, I didn't think in Auschwitz I find anybody.

But after.

After the war. After I was liberated, later.

But when you were on the boxcar from Auschwitz to Mauthausen, what kept you going?

I don't know. Inner strength. There's a crazy strength of an animal because he wants to live, you know. You have to fight, you fight, you fight to live. To survive, strong like animal.

But some people died in that car.
