Getting Remarried

Oh. When did you remarry here in the United States?

Pardon me?

Did you remarry in the United States?

No, I remarried in Belgium actually. It was a, a man who I knew from Bucharest. I didn't want to, I didn't want to remarry him. Everybody was, I mean, told me that I'm crazy and so on. And then he was very nice to my child and I, I accepted. But I made a mistake. So we divorced after three and a half years. It was really not--we came together here to the United States. He, he became a teacher too. But uh, we didn't stay, I mean, I didn't live in Kingston because it was a matter of not getting a, finding a house. I would have uh, it was a mistake. We were not meant. Just didn't work. And I, I didn't want to remarry. In Bucharest they kept on telling me, "Well, you won't go out, you'll be alone," and so on. Then I didn't--I mean. It's completely a different culture, a different way of life and, uh...
