Family Lost in War

So, at what point did you realize what had happened to your parents, and grandparents?

Right in the camps probably, they were talking about it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So you--as soon as you heard...

Treblinka, that was it.

Yeah.

Yeah. They really, could have been there too.

Yeah.

With us. They could have. If they would leave the store, but they didn't want to give up uh, this living--their living. They thought their gonna live, yeah.

Husband: But you had a choice right? We didn't.

I had a choice, yeah.

Husband: Yeah.

I could bring my parents to work.

Yeah, yeah.

I couldn't, take 'em to work, make 'em do it.

You could have talked them into--or they...

Oh I did, I did.
