Israel Zinman standing in front of the house, “ohel” in Hebrew or “stibel” in Yiddish, containing the remains of the famous Hasisdic Rabbi Dov Be’er, known as the “Meziricher Maggid”, in the cemetery in Anapoli. Rabbi Dov Be’er was known for his knowledge of Jewish law and taught in Mezerich for a number of years in the mid-1700s. Zinman is holding the Mezericher memorial book compiled after the war that comments on the influence of the Maggid.
