....you had no intention of staying at that time...

...and basically you stayed because of your wife.
It was for Amelia. Not that--don't misunderstand me. I--not that I don't like the United States since I didn't come--I like the United States. I never had an idea--I never came with the intention to stay. I always uh, in my back uh, the back of my mind, I was on my way back when I, when I met Amelia. I--my--the way I uh, I took my training was not to stay here and this is why I had to repeat most of the thing after I finished. And actually I had to repeat ??? It was a complicated uh, mess before I straightened it out.
