Moving to Brazil III
But first you went to Brazil.
Yes, but my cousin said, "I won't let you go to Israel unless you go with your--with a husband." And my cousin knew him very well. My cousin knew Sidney very well and when his younger brother who was in Auschwitz and came to England afterwards and was under the same roof--we were there for a while together when he saw that I refused him he said, "This is going to cost you dearly. You are going to pay a high price for this mistake that you are making and you'll probably correct it later but I think you sent away the right man." And later on things changed and I--we remained in touch--corresponding--he went to his sister, to his brother-in-law who were alone in Brazil and had a business and wanted him.
And you followed him.
A year later.
Husband: A year and a half.
