Auschwitz--Sonderkommando

When you were at Auschwitz, you...You talked about this Sonderkommando, the people who sorted clothes.

No, they call it Sonderkommando.

No, they...they sort it in Birkenau, not in Auschwitz.

At the ??? Do you remember that... any of that? Did you see that... piles of clothes, piles of...

No, we couldn't go there...but I went there, you know, I went...the...this gentlemen took me there, you know. They need one time an electrician... whatever times they need a profession...

Yeah.

I say I'm...I'm a...I'm a carpenter, I'm an electrician. I went out...I went with them.

But they thought you were a... a medical student, right? You said you were... You told them you were a medical student?
