Cousin in the U.S. II

You said you had a cousin in New York who met you in Rome.

He was in Italy, he couldn't ???

In 1945.

He was, his name is Carl Hester.

What happened to him?

He moved to Israel. He was a vice-president, American Smelting Company. One of the biggest, biggest aluminum company.

He was kind to you.

Hm?

He was good to you. He treated you well.

Yeah, he the one, I see him twice in Italy.

He gave you money?

I didn't want from him. The first time, yeah, the second time I didn't want. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He give me the first hundred dollars. I could buy a bicycle with a motor, you know, with a motor. I remember I paid 60,000 lires for a bicycle with a motor, you know.

Sixty thousand lire is how much in?

A hundred dollar about that time. And the rest I make money. I could have gone in Friday just for a couple hours, you know, on the, on the stock market, and make myself two, three mil just like this.
