Did you live in a Jewish neighborhood?
Not necessarily. It, I, we lived uh, a little bit on the outskirts of the city.
So you had non-Jewish friends?
Uh, we had non-Jewish friend. Yeah, I had a factory uh, even in Ozorkow I had a textile factory, which I employed Polish people. And we were all very respected in town.
Was your father also in textiles?
Yeah. It was way back, you know, all textile.
So, what would... You would call your family middle class?
The upper middle class I would say.
And were they religious?
Yeah, they were all religious, yeah.
So you went to shul...
They were all Hasidic, yeah.
on Saturday. You were all Hasidic?
Yeah.
