Hasidic Dress

So your family all dressed in traditional Hasidic dress.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's one thing I'm glad it's done away with.

And your mother wore a sheitel.

Oh yeah, yeah. And when I go, when I go to Borough Park I'm reminded of it.

You have family in Borough Park?

Yeah, I have a son in Borough Park.

And they still dress that way there.

Yeah. He uh, dresses uh, uh, modern, more modern. But some you see, there are some uh, sects that are really backward. And they put on the, the little keplach like they used to wear, you know. I think I had a picture from home, you know. Uh, I got it through my sister because she lived in Israel already before the war, you know. And you send the pictures. So when we went there picked up some of the old pictures, you know.
