Hearing About the Concentration Camps
Um, did you ever hear anything about being...

...the death camps. I--we knew that they were killing the Jews. We didn't know about the--at least I didn't, maybe others did but I, I didn't know about the concentration camps and the type of extermination that was going on in, in those camps not until after the war was over. Uh, and we met the people that were on those--in that camps. That's when we heard about them and uh, but not while we were in hiding and not when we were--of course, we knew that they were killing the Jews you know but we didn't know that it was, you know.
Did the Einsatzgruppen ever go through that area? The, the Einsatzgruppen? The different...
