Extended Family

What about uncles and aunts and cousins. Did you have a large extended family at this time as well?

Yes, in the ghetto we were approximately from my mother and from my father's side, we were in excess of thirty people, including my great grandmother who was at the time, over ninety-six plus.

This was your mother's grandmother?

Yes.

Um, of that thirty, how many do you think survived the war?

Three of us.

You and your father?

No, my father I didn't include in the three because he was in Russia.

You and who else?

An aunt of mine and an uncle.
