Introduction
The following is an interview with Mr. Jack Gun on the morning of August 27, 1993 at his home in West Bloomfield, Michigan. The interviewer is Sidney Bolkosky. [pause] Could you tell me your name please and where you're from--where you were born?
My name is Jack Gun. I was born in a small town in--was Poland, Rozhishche, July 21, 1934.
Um, and, and what, what major cities that um, is that near?
It's near--the major city would be Rovno. Also quite a large city near us was Lutsk. And uh, the district was called Wołyń. Uh, when I was born it was Poland, 1939 the Russians came in, so we became Russia.
