Could you uh, tell me something about your life before the war? Could you tell me your name? State your name for me?
Before the war?
Your maiden name.
Was Hanka Monczyk. M-O-N-C-Z-Y-K.
Okay, and you were born where?
In Częstochowa, in Poland.
Can you describe your life before the war?
I was a simple little girl. I went to school. As a matter of fact I only finish my sixth grade when the war broke out and they didn't let no Jews continue with schooling, so all I had is sixth grade.
