German Invasion

Do you remember how you felt seeing these Germans soldiers?

Nothing. I didn't feel anything about it. No hate, no nothing. They were just soldiers. Like Russian soldiers would go through, Polish soldiers. That's all, they're just soldiers.

Were they scary?

No. We just were looking, everybody was lined up watching them go by. To us, I mean, something like that you don't see.

So what was the first evidence that you knew something was seriously...

When we were in the ghetto I would say.
