How long did you have to live in such a situation?
Then one day, a ??? came, came all these people who lived in these Jewish ghettos at that time already, only those people who had papers, so-called papers which uh, the Swiss uh, embassy offered pa... to hand you this paper. Maybe this is known that they issued a ??? also, oh yeah, you didn't know that.
I didn't know.
Yeah. Issued paper that they, these people are under their protection. Just they wanted to help to, to some Jewish, they wanted to help Jewish people.

In '44. Q:'44.
And we got papers from the Swiss consulate that we are under the Swiss uh, protection. And this, the whole building because everybody who had some paper. The others, they were deported. And...
