The Voice/Vision Holocaust Survivor Oral History Archive is celebrating its 25 year anniversary and you’re invited! The celebration will be held on September 9, 2007 at the Henry Ford Estate on the campus of the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2 to 4 p.m. Victoria Monacelli will speak about her middle school students’ extraordinary use of interviews from the Voice/Vision Archive. The celebration will also feature music from the Phoenix Quartet, as well as, talks by Hank Greenspan and Agi Rubin. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Nicholas Winton - The Power of Good: Film screening and panel discussion, November 15

Nicholas Winton is responsible for saving 669 children from certain death in 1939 by arranging their transport from Czechoslovakia and placement with foster families in London, but kept his role a secret for fifty years. 'I just saw what was going on and did what I could to help.'

Learn more about this extraordinary man as The Voice/Vision Holocaust Survivor Oral History Archive and the Gelman Educational Foundation present a public showing of the film Nicholas Winton - The Power of Good on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn is pleased to present a new exhibit featuring art work by Miriam Brysk and artifacts on loan from Holocaust survivors.

Opening Reception September 19, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Miriam Brysk will present at 6:30 to introduce her art work.

Visiting the exhibit:

The exhibit will run from September 19 through October 14, 2005 at the Alfred Berkowitz Gallery on the third floor of the Mardigian Library, University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Hours for the display will be Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
